The Laligurans Batika Secondary School in Narephant, Koteshwor, has celebrated its 14th Annunal Parents’s Day. The program was organized on Friday with the Chief Guest, Nandlal Poudel, at the school premises. On the first day of the 14th Parent’s Day program, the students from playgroup to class 4 presented various cultural programs.
Not only did the younger children recite Hanuman Chalisa from Gayatri Mantra, they also won the hearts of the parents by dancing. Children also presented a message-based drama that would have a serious impact on people through the use of mobile. According to Principal, Hari Shiwakoti the aim was to provide practical and moral education to the students rather than just the education of the book. “To give a glimpse of the purpose of the school, the younger children also recited Sanskrit verses and danced in the same tune,” he said.
On the second day of the 14th Parent’s Day program, the students from class 5 to higher secondary presented various programs providing social educations, other cultural programs. Laligurans Batika School have donated 1 lakh 4 thousand amount to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation for the construction of ‘Gautam Buddha International Stadium’. Likewise Parents who were invited even donated 20 thousand to the foundation.
